Beginning next week, Doña Ana County will implement a discount-card program to help consumers cope with the high price of prescription drugs. The county has signed a contract to make prescription drug-discount cards available at no cost under a program sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) that offers average savings of 20 percent off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs.

REPAVING CONSTRUCTION BEGINS WEDNESDAY ON BERINO ROAD

Berino Road in Anthony east of N.M. 478 will close Wednesday, March 5, for about a week while construction crews resurface approximately 600 feet of the roadway. Traffic will be routed to Joy Drive during the construction phase, which is expected to last about one week. read more...

COUNTY OFFICES, SOLID-WASTE TRANSFER STATIONS ANNOUNCE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Most Dona Ana County offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, to allow employees to observe the Presidents’ Day holiday.
