PET ADOPTION EVENTS SLATED SATURDAY, OCT. 23
The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley will conduct two pet adoption events Saturday. Available for adoption will be dogs, puppies, cats and kittens.

NEW STUDENT ART SHOW ANNOUNCED; RECEPTION SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 8
More than 100 pieces of original student artwork from the Las Cruces and Gadsden Public Schools are being installed in the first-floor corridors of the Doña Ana County Government Center at 845 N. Motel Blvd. in Las Cruces. The exhibit will include photography, paintings, etchings, drawings and sculpture. The artists range from elementary students to high schoolers. read more...

SOLID WASTE COUPON SALES LOCATIONS ANNOUNCED

COUNTY ANNOUNCES COLUMBUS DAY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
Most Dona Ana County offices will be closed Monday, October 11, 2010, to allow employees to observe the Columbus Day holiday. Emergency services and law enforcement in the field will not be affected, but the administrative offices of the Doña Ana County Sheriff¹s Department will be closed. read more...

PORTION OF YUCCA ROAD TO CLOSE MONDAY

DOÑA ANA COUNTY SHERIFF’S ACADEMY TO GRADUATE 16 CADETS
The Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department will graduate its 13th law-enforcement academy this Friday, April 11, at an invitation-only ceremony in the Doña Ana County Government Center. New Mexico Attorney General Gary King will be the commencement speaker, and cadet John Signore will give the valedictorian’s address. Third Judicial District Judge Robert Robles will administer the oaths of office.
