The Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department, in conjunction with the Village of Hatch and the Hatch Volunteer Fire Department, is evacuating some residents from areas experiencing heavy flooding.

Running water also has forced the immediate closures of Highways 26, 187 and 185.

There are no reports of injuries.
