Most Dona Ana County offices will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, to allow employees to honor our nation’s veterans. Emergency services and law enforcement will not be affected.

November’s first regular meeting of the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners has been moved to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, to accommodate the holiday schedule.

The closures also affect the county’s solid-waste convenience stations in Anthony, La Mesa, Hill, Butterfield, Mesquite, La Union, Hatch and Garfield, all of which will reopen Friday, Nov. 14, 2008.
