Doña Ana County is accepting applications from individuals interested in evaluating external agency health-services funding applications for Fiscal Year 2010-11.
To be considered, each applicant must submit a detailed letter of interest, a current resume and a notarized document declaring that s/he meets each of the following criteria:
Is not a current member of the Health and Human Services Alliance
Is not employed by, related to an employee or otherwise associated with an agency that has received funding from Doña Ana County in the past two years, or is applying for funding in the current year.
Has been a resident of Doña Ana County for at least three years.
Has demonstrated familiarity with the healthcare system/services in Doña Ana County.
Represents providers, consumers, or advocates of healthcare services.
All applications must be delivered to Jess Williams in the Doña Ana County Commission Liaison Office, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, N.M., 88007, no later than 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2009.
The Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners will appoint the evaluation committee from among the qualified applicants. The committee will assist Doña Ana County in evaluating collaborative proposals under each of the following funding priorities:
1) Countywide Clinical and Hospice services;
2) Countywide Health-Education and Promotion services
3) Countywide Behavioral-Health services
Agencies eligible for funding include non-profit, 501c3, state, federal and quasi-government entities.
