District 2 Doña Ana County Commissioner Dr. David J. Garcia will facilitate a community meeting for Chaparral residents at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Betty McKnight Community Center.

In addition to Commissioner Garcia, other elected and county officials will be present, including District 53 State Rep. Nate Cote and representatives from the following Doña Ana County departments: Community Development, Health and Human Services, Fire and Emergency Services, Facilities/Parks, Roads, Sheriff and Flood Commission.
