The Doña Ana County Bureau of Elections is recruiting poll workers and precinct judges for the Nov. 5 General Election. Requirements for qualification include: 1) 18 years of age or older; 2) Registered voter; 3) County resident; 4) Ability to read and write; 5) Ability to work all day Nov. 5; and 6) Ability to attend two hours of training during the week of Oct. 21.
Successful poll worker applicants will be paid $100. Successful precinct judge applicants will be paid $110.
SAMPLE BALLOTS AVAILABLE
Sample ballots for every voting district are available at the Doña Ana County Bureau of Elections. The offices are located on the first floor of the Doña Ana County Courthouse at 251 W. Amador Ave., at the corner of Amador and Alameda in downtown Las Cruces.
EARLY VOTING OPEN AT COURTHOUSE
Early voting is now open at the Doña Ana County Courthouse at 251 W. Amador Ave., at the corner of Amador and Alameda in downtown Las Cruces. Beginning Oct. 16, early voting also will be open at the Hatch School Board Room, the Anthony Community Center, Highland Elementary School in Las Cruces and at the Sunland Park Community Library.
