MISSION STATEMENT

To provide fleet management, fuel, and maintenance support in a professional, cost effective and efficient manner to the Departments of Doņa Ana County





Fleet Management - We provide fleet management to our customer departments. This includes fuel, vehicle replacement planning, specification writing, purchasing, vehicle delivery and preparation, registration, title and license, as well as disposal of surplus vehicles.



Personnel include:


Cost recovery - We are tasked to recover all of our operating and internal capital costs with the objective of our revenues balancing our expenditures at the end of the year.


Fuel - The Fleet Department contracts with outside vendors to provide fuel to all County Departments. We provide fuel cards to users and monitor fuel usage. We have one Service truck to fuel equipment out in the field and one tow truck to recover County vehicles in the field if necessary.


Maintenance - We provide full service maintenance and repairs in our shop or if necessary contract with outside specialty shops to all of customer departments.
