LAS CRUCES, NM – Voter turnout for the second 2021 Regular Local Election in Doña Ana County was approximately 11.2%, or 14,434. This is lower than the turnout for the first municipal election in 2019, which was approximately 16.5%, or 19,825 voters, Clerk Amanda López Askin announced Tuesday night.
LAS CRUCES, NM – Starting October 5th, Doña Ana County will have 24-hour secured containers available for absentee ballot drop-off at various locations for the 2021 Regular Local Election. The containers will be available at the following locations:
LAS CRUCES, NM – Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office announced Thursday that an additional early voting site in Mesilla is being made available to voters on October 16th. Early in-person voting for the 2021 Regular Local Election (RLE) begins on October 5th at the Doña Ana County Government Center.

LAS CRUCES, NM – Candidate Filing Day for the upcoming 2021 Regular Local Election (RLE) will take place Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office at 845 N. Motel Blvd. Candidates are required to file a declaration of candidacy between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
The Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office will convene the county’s Board of Registration to conduct a bi-annual cancellation of voters.

LAS CRUCES, NM – In response to New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham’s recent order announcing statewide restrictions due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office, along with the Treasurer’s and Assessor’s Offices, will be limiting in-person services.
