28 NEW FIREFIGHTERS TO BE SWORN IN

     After completing the 23rd and 24th Doña Ana County Fire and Emergency Services Firefighter Academy, 28 new firefighters will be sworn in at the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7.Firefighter Academy 23
     The academy consists of 84 hours of classroom instruction and skills practice over the course of 10 consecutive weekends. Topics of instruction include fire safety, fire behavior, building construction, fire extinguishers, forcible entry, fire streams, proper use of gear and equipment, and ropes.
     The graduating firefighters are Rosa Ayala, Charles Bill, Yesenia Castillo, Jose “Joe” Chaidez, Chris Chavez, Kenneth “Kenno” Faulkner, Kique Gerardo, Max Gomez, Guillermo Herrera, Danielle Lara, Gabriel Lopez, Isaac Lopez, Jose Martinez, Fernando Martinez,  Librado Martinez, Jennifer “Jenn” Montanez, Alex Montes, Jesse Munoz, Jaime Pinon, Belen “Bell” Santos, Roxy Urbina, Antonia Vargas, Garry Veara, Ivonne “Shorty” Sanchez, Jorge Ramirez, Nicolas Tahuahua, Ethan Tahuahua, and Troy Tudor.
Firefighter Academy 24     The public is encouraged to attend the ceremony and congratulate graduates.
