AGENDA FOR A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
The Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following agenda at a Special Meeting to be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88007.
- Roll Call of Officers
- Approval or Changes to the Agenda
- Delete mobile homes as a use permitted use in T2 and look at other zoning classifications.
- Review list of all uses in the Land Use Matrix as RV Parks are permitted in the T2 zone.
- Update the zoning maps to include these new “L” designations.
- Review Natural “N” classifications on private land, particularly with the Desert Peaks National Monument and other areas with N designations.
- Expand “5.12.3 Airport Operations District Requirements” and insert associated maps in Appendix Z.
- Permit an additional public hearing requirement for Community Types. (Section 2.13.4.f).
- The County accept ownership of Civic Space (Section 4.4.A.6).
- P&Z Final Decision on zone changes (Section 2.3.1).
- Size limitations for accessory dwellings in T2, T2L, T3, T3L, R5, R5L, D1, D1L, D2, and D2L (Tables 5.4, 5.5, 5.8, 5.9).
- Correct typos, grammatical, and non-content clerical errors.
