  1. Accept Doña Ana County Contracts Executed Between November 27th, 2017 – December 8th,      2017 – Pamela Wood, Contract Administrator, will discuss.         
  1. Accept Report of Annual Inspection of the Doña Ana County Detention Center Conducted by Commissioners Solis and Vasquez – District 4 Chair, Isabella Solis, and District 5 Vice-   Chair, John Vasquez, will discuss.
  1. Approve Annual Resolution Superseding Resolution 2017-02 and Directing the Preparation of A Statement of the Receipts and Expenditures of Doña Ana County for the Previous Year – Nelson Goodin, County Attorney, will discuss.
  1. Approve an Annual Resolution Superseding Resolution 2017-05 Establishing Notice Requirements for Doña Ana County Board of County Commissioners Meetings for 2018 -  Nelson Goodin, County Attorney, will discuss.
  1. Approve an Annual Resolution Superseding Resolution 2017-01 and Designating the Chair          or Vice Chair to Review and Act upon Special Dispenser Permit Applications – Nelson Goodin, County Attorney, will discuss.
  1. Approve an Annual Resolution Superseding Resolution 2017-03 and Imposing a $250 Non-Prohibitive License Tax upon Licensees Operating Pursuant to Provisions of the Liquor Control Act – Nelson Goodin, County Attorney, will discuss.
  1. Approve Resolution Delegating Authority to the County Manager to Issue, on Behalf of the Board of County Commissioners, the Annual Order Imposing Property Tax Rates – Nelson  Goodin, County Attorney, will discuss.
  1. Approve Resolution Adopting an Amendment to the Collective Bargaining Agreement  Between the County and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, New Mexico Council 18, Detention Center, Local 1529 – Nelson Goodin, County Attorney, will discuss.
  1. Accept Newly Received Grant from New Mexico Historical Records and Approve Budget Resolution and Revision and Delegate Signature Authority to County Manager on all Related Documents – Scott Krahling, County Clerk, will discuss.
  1. Approve Award of Invitation to Bid #18-0009 (ITB) to Hydro Resources for Well #14 Replacement and Authorize Signature Authority to the County Manager for all Related Contracts, Amendments or Change Orders, and Renewals – Daniel Hortert, Manager, Economic Development, will discuss.
  1. Approve Interlocal/Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement between the City of El Paso, Texas and Doña Ana County, New Mexico – Fire Chief Nicholas Hempel, will discuss.
  1. Approval of Grant Application for Taxiway and Apron Pavement Maintenance/T-HangarArea Drainage Improvements at the Jetport, and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager on Grant Agreement and all Related Documents – Bill Provance, Jetport Manager, will discuss.

  1. Approve a Resolution Requesting the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission Docket An Investigation Regarding Potentially Unnecessary Utility Capital Investments – District 3 Commissioner, Benjamin Rawson, will discuss.
  1. Approve Annual Resolution Superseding Resolution 2017-07 Appointing Two Members of The Board of County Commissioners to Conduct an Annual Inspection of the Doña Ana Detention Center – Nelson Goodin, County Attorney, will discuss.
  1. Approve Annual Resolution Superseding Resolution 2017-08 and Confirming the Board’s 2018 Appointments to Various Committees and Joint Governmental Entities – Nelson Goodin, County Attorney, will discuss.

 

CORRESPONDENCE

  1. Cindy Padilla, County Clerk’s Office, will present to the Commission any claims received by Doña Ana County.

 

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION, to discuss pending or threatened litigation involving Julia Brown; the Griggs and Walnut Superfund Site; and Opioid Manufacturers and Distributors as authorized in the Open Meetings Act, NMSA 1978 §10-15-1(H)(7).
