CONSENT AGENDA: The Board will be asked to approve by one motion the following items of recurring or routine business:

1. MINUTES - Approve Minutes for the Regular Meeting of July 10, 2018.

2. Accept Doña Ana County Treasurer’s Financial Report for the Month of June 2018 – Eric Rodriguez, County Treasurer, will discuss.

3. Accept Grant Funds from the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General, Approve Budget Revision and Resolution and Delegate Signature Authority to County Manager for all Related Documents - Geof Abruzzi, IT Applications Programming Manager, will discuss.

4. Approve Memorandum of Understanding between the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department and the Gadsden Independent School District Regarding School Resource Officers within the Three High Schools in the Gadsden and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager - Captain Jon Day, Sheriff’s Office, will discuss.

5. Approve Mutual Aid Agreements Between Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Hatch Police Department, Mesilla Marshal’s Office, New Mexico State University Police Department and the City of Sunland Park Police Department and Delegate Signature Authority to County Manager - Captain Jon Day, Sheriff’s Office, will discuss.

6. Approve Grant of Franchise and Franchise Agreement with Charter Communications (A.K.A. Time Warner Cable of Texas, LLC) – Robert Armijo, County Engineer, will discuss.

7. Approve a Resolution Supporting Healthcare Workforce Development Efforts – Jamie Michael, Health and Human Services Director, will discuss.

8. Approve Budget Revision and Budget Resolution Related to the Southern New Mexico/El Paso Joint Land Use Study Implementation Grant Funding – Daniel Hortert, Economic Development Special Projects Manager, will discuss.

9. Approve Out-of-State Travel for Economic Development & Special Projects Manager to Attend a Grant Funded Office of Economic Adjustment Listening Session in St. Louis, Missouri, August 12-14, 2018 – Daniel Hortert, Economic Development Special Project Manager, will discuss.

10. Approve a Budget Resolution and Revision to provide Budget Authority for a Colonias Infrastructure Fund project No. 4642-CIF18 for Wastewater Improvements in Chaparral – Dan Sambrano, Utility Manager, will discuss.

11. Approve a Budget Resolution and Revision to Increase 2018-2019 Contribution to Metro Narcotics – Fernando Macias, County Manager, will discuss.

12. Approve Doña Ana County’s Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Fourth Quarter Financial Report Ending June 30, 2018 - Marisol Richardson, Budget & Research Officer, will discuss.

13. Approve Resolution Adopting Doña Ana County’s FY2018-2019 Final Budget – Marisol Richardson, Budget & Research Officer, will discuss.

CORRESPONDENCE

14. Cindy Padilla, County Clerk’s Office, will present to the Commissioner any claims received by Doña Ana County.

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION, to discuss: 1) a bargaining strategy preliminary to collective bargaining negotiations with the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 7911; 2) threatened or pending litigation involving condemnation of real property for the installation of a wastewater line; all as authorized by the Open Meetings Act, NMSA 1978, § 10-15-1 (H) (5), (7) and (8) respectively.

COMMISSION MAY CONVENE IN OPEN SESSION to take action, if any, on the closed session items.

COMMISSION ADJOURNS AS THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND THE COUNTY BOARD OF FINANCE IN OPEN SESSION.
