PRESENTATIONS/PROCLAMATIONS

3. Proclaim August 7 – 13, 2016, as Health Center Week in Doña Ana County – Introduced by Jamie Michael, Director, Health and Human Services; Jess Williams, Public Information Director/Commission Liaison, will read the Proclamation.

4. Present the 2016 Staff Survey Results – Cindy Capanna, Sr. HR Administrator, will present.

CONSENT AGENDA - The Board will be asked to approve by one motion the following items of recurring or routine business:

5. Approve Resolution Adopting 2018-2022 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP) – Robert Armijo, County Engineer, will discuss.

6. Approve Fire Tax Board Recommendation and Expenditure of up to $500,000.00 for the County-wide Communication System Upgrade and Delegate Signature Authority to County Manager for Related Contract Documents – Eric Crespin, Interim Fire Chief, Fire and Emergency Services, will discuss.

7. Approve the Utilization of the State Purchasing Contract #20-000-00-0058 for Electronic Fuel Card Services and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager for Related Contract Documents – Gabriel Silva, Fleet Manager, will discuss.

8. Accept and Approve Award for the State of New Mexico, New Mexico Environment Department Grant Agreement (No. RAID 17NT-07) and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager to Amend and Review all Related Documents – Vicki Lusk, Manager ACO/Codes, will discuss.

9. Approve Task Order to C D Mechanical, Inc., Through CES Contruction for Detention Center Plumbing System Repairs and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager for Related Contract Documents – Chris Barela, Detention Center Director, will discuss.

10. Approve a Resolution Supporting the Development of a Veteran’s Court –Chairman Wayne Hancock, District 4, will discuss.

CORRESPONDENCE

11. Lynn Ellins, County Clerk, will present to the Commission any claims received by Doña Ana County.

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION to 1) discuss a limited personnel matter regarding the County Manager’s performance evaluation and contract; and 2) subject to the attorney-client privilege to discuss threatened or pending litigation relating to a claim filed by Christopher Barela against Doña Ana County as authorized by the Open Meetings Act, NMSA 1978, §10-15-1 (H)(2) and (7).

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY CONVENE IN OPEN SESSION to take action, if any, on the closed session items.

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ADJOURNS AS THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND THE COUNTY BOARD OF FINANCE IN OPEN SESSION.
