6. Approve Award of Request for Proposal 16-0052 Engineering Services and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager for Related Contract Documents – Robert Armijo, County Engineer, will discuss.

7. Approve Out-of-State Travel for Community Development Department Advance Planner to Attend Water Harvesting Certification Training Course Provided by Watershed Management Group (WMG) October 16-24, 2016 in Tucson, Arizona – Samuel Paz, Advance Planner, Community Development, will discuss.

8. Approve Grant Agreement, Budget Revision and Resolution for Capital Appropriation Project Administered by the State of New Mexico Department of Transportation Fund 89200 and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager on All Related Documents - William Provance, Jetport Manager, will discuss.

9. Approve Out-of-State Travel for Community Development Employees, Animal Controls/Codes Employees to Attend 40 Hour National Animal Cruelty Investigation (ACI) Certification School Training, in Irving, Texas, November 7-11, 2016 – Marylou Ward, Field Supervisor, ACO & Codes, Community Development, will discuss.

Accept Capital Appropriation Project Grant Agreements from the State of New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration, Approve the Associated Budget Revision and Resolution, and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager on all Related Documents – Angie Barrios, Grant Writer, DASD, will discuss.

Comment on a Proposed Annexation Petition by the City of Las Cruces for Approximately 7.165 Acres Located on the South Side of University Ave., Adjacent to and west of the Convention Center and Delegate Signature Authority to the Chair – Luis Marmolejo, Senior Planner, Community Development, will discuss.

CORRESPONDENCE

15. Lynn Ellins, County Clerk, will present to the Commission any claims received by Doña Ana County.

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION, subject to the attorney-client privilege to discuss threatened or pending litigation relating to the New Mexico Association of Counties Multi Line Pools denial of coverage relating to the claim filed by Chris Barela against Doña Ana County as authorized by the Open Meetings, Act, NMSA 1978, §10-15-1 (H) (7).

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY CONVENE IN OPEN SESSION to take action, if any, on the closed session items.

THE DOÑA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ADJOURNS AS THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND THE COUNTY BOARD OF FINANCE IN OPEN SESSION.
