COUNTY PERSONNEL TO CANVASS VADO NEIGHBORHOOD

COUNTY PERSONNEL TO CANVASS VADO NEIGHBORHOOD

Doña Ana County Animal Control and Codes Enforcement, along with Planning and Constituent Services personnel will be going door-to-door on Lomas Avenue, Plaza Avenue, Cristo Avenue and La Fe Avenue in the Vado area on Thursday, June 6 to offer education on domestic animal ordinances, recycling, trash accumulation, inoperable vehicles, weed control and other potential environmental and zoning codes violations.
The Animal Control and Environmental Survey (ACES) program aims to educate residents on how to come into compliance with county ordinances involving domestic animals, solid waste and opportunities to beautify the area where they live. In recent years, multiple ACES projects have been conducted countywide.
In conjunction with South Central Solid Waste Authority, a roll-off and recycling container and tire shredder will be made available on Saturday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to noon as part of the community clean-up initiative.
