DETENTION CENTER GRADUATES SIXTEEN OFFICER CADETS

 

  Sixteen new detention center officers will be sworn in after having successfully completed the seven-week Basic Detention Officers’ Academy at the Doña Ana County Detention Center.

 The public is invited to attend the graduation ceremony, which will take place in the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center on Friday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m.

Luna County Detention Center Administrator Chris A. Brice will deliver the commencement address, and Third Judicial District Judge Conrad Perea will administer the oaths of service.

Graduating detention officers are: Edwin Castaneda, James Crawford, Justin Enriquez, Donna Estrada, Ramon Favela, Raul Hernandez, Isaac Legarrete, Robert Madril, Daniel Rodriguez, Oscar Ruiz, Jose Sanchez, Victor Serna, Kevin Silva and Janette Villalobos from Doña Ana County.

Luna County is graduating four sergeants from the academy: Ruben Almanza, Robert Apodaca, Javier Gallegos and Crystal Lessau.

The public is encouraged to attend.
