The Las Cruces Extra-Territorial Zoning Commission agenda for a public hearing to be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the County Commission Chambers at 845 N. Motel Boulevard, Las Cruces, New Mexico.

1.    Case ETZS-14-018W:  Barnhill Acres Replat No. 1 Waiver Request

A request for approval of a waiver to the required right-of-way improvements associated with a replat known as Barnhill Acres Replat No. 1.  The applicant is seeking to waive the required right-of-way improvements to San Ysidro Road, an adjacent Collector roadway as classified by the Mesilla Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).  The subject property encompasses 2.03 + acres, is zoned ER3M and is located on the north side of San Ysidro Road, 575 + feet west of its intersection with Dona Ana Road; a.k.a. 660 San Ysidro Road; Parcel ID# 03-22927.  Submitted by Moy Surveying Inc., on behalf of Grady Viramontes, property owner.

2.    Case ETZ-15-009W:  Funkhouser Estates Subdivision Waiver Request

A request for approval of a waiver to the required right-of-way dedication associated with a minor subdivision known as Funkhouser Estates. The applicant is seeking to waive the required right-of-way dedication to Fairacres Road, a Minor Arterial roadway as classified by the Mesilla Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). The subject property encompasses 46.33 + acres, is zoned ER3 and is located on the east side of Fairacres Road, 329 + feet south of its intersection with Interstate 10; Parcel ID# 03-02655.  Submitted by Southwest Engineering, Inc., on behalf of Barbara Funkhouser Revocable Trust, property owner.

 

3.    Case ETZS-15-007: Vista Rancho Sketch Plan

A request for approval of a sketch plan known as Vista Rancho proposing a cluster development of approximately 358 residential lots on three (3) existing tracts totaling 158.4 + acres and zoned ER4 and ER5; Parcel ID# 03-05820, 03-05802 & 03-15150.  The subject property is located generally west of Elks Road, east of El Camino Real Road, with a portion directly west of Vista Middle School.  Submitted by Taylor Road Development, LLC, property owner.

 

4.    Case ETZS-15-007W:  Vista Rancho Sketch Plan Waiver Request

A request for approval of a waiver to the required right-of-way dedication and improvements associated with a sketch plan known as Vista Rancho. The applicant is seeking to waive the required right-of-way dedication and improvements to Taylor Road, a Minor Arterial roadway as classified by the Mesilla Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), and Lopez Road, a Collector roadway as classified by the MPO. The subject property encompasses 158.4 + acres, is zoned ER4 and ER5 and is located west of Elks Road, east of El Camino Real Road, with a portion directly west of Vista Middle School.  Submitted by Taylor Road Development, LLC, property owner.
