The Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following agenda at a Regular Meeting to be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88007.

    1. Case# CV16-002: Submitted by Dawn Oakley, a request for a Variance to road access standards within the Performance District. The applicant is proposing a 30’ county maintained paved ROW where a 50’ ROW and 24’ of improved roadway is required in order to construct a 1,500 sq. ft. building for a winery/tasting room and vineyard. The 4.14 acre parcel is located on 307 W. Provencio Road, in Chamberino, NM. It is within Township 26S, Range 3E, Section 18, recorded in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk August 03, 2010, under Instrument # 1022157, and can be further identified by Parcel # 17-02611.
    2. Case # PDNR (L) 15-009: Submitted by Dawn Oakley, a Non-residential application to construct a 1,500 sq. ft. building for a winery/tasting room and vineyard. The 4.14 acre parcel is located on 307 W. Provencio Road, in Chamberino, NM. It is within Township 26S, Range 3E, Section 18, recorded in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk August 03, 2010, under Instrument # 1022157, and can be further identified by Parcel # 17-02611.
    3. Case # PUD (2) 16-001: Submitted by Justin Owen/Verizon Wireless; Thomas and Bertha Chavez, Property Owners, a request for a Type 2 Planned Unit Development Overlay Zone for a Telecommunication Facility (160’ Self Support Tower). The 9.04 acre site is addressed as 8610 Doña Ana Road north of Hill, NM and is identified as being in Township 21 South, Range 1 East, Section 32; recorded on July 2, 2008 under Instrument # 0819045 in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk. The parcel can be further identified by Parcel ID # 03-29089.
    4. Case# CV16-001: Submitted by Minerva and Michael Gomez, a request for a Variance to road access standards and setbacks within the Performance District. The applicant is proposing a 66’ county maintained graded ROW where a 60’ ROW and 36’ of improved roadway is required in order to pursue a High Intensity Residential Application to locate 7 mobile homes on the property. The applicant is also proposing a 0’ setback on the rear and side property lines where 25’ is required on the rear and 5’ is required on the side property line. The 2.50 acre lot is located at 16 Warthen Road, north of Anthony, NM.  It is within Township 26S, Range 3E, Section 14, recorded in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk April 1, 2015, under Instrument # 1506622, and can be further identified by Parcel # 17-05893.
    5. Case # PDR (H) 16-003:  Submitted by Minerva and Michael Gomez, a High Intensity Residential, Mobile Home Park request to allow seven (7) mobile homes on a 2.50-acre lot. The subject property is located at 16 Warthen Road, north of Anthony, NM.  It is within Township 26S, Range 3E, Section 14, recorded in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk April 1, 2015, under Instrument # 1506622, and can be further identified by Parcel # 17-05893.
