The Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following agenda at a Regular Meeting to be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88007:

  1. Roll Call of Officers
  2. Approval or Changes to the Agenda
  3. Approval of Minutes:  Regular Meeting of February 8, 2018.
  4. Old Business:
    1. CASE # V17-011 / Camarena: The applicant, Dora Camarena, is requesting a Variance to the maximum allowable height of a rear yard wall.  The applicant is proposing a 10 ft. wall at the rear property line where a maximum height allowed is 6 ft. in a T3 zone. The 1.71-acre parcel is addressed at 39 Cielo Vista Drive in Doña Ana County and is Lot 7 Block 5 of the Cielo Dorado Estates Subdivision.  Recorded on 12/26/2017 Instrument No. 0742306, in the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office. It can be further identified by Parcel No. R1704626.

      Postponed from the January 25, 2018 Meeting.

  5. New Business:
    1. CASE # V18-001 / Acosta: The applicant, Daniel Acosta, is requesting a Variance to the maximum allowable height of a wall for a rear and side yard on a residential property. The applicant is proposing a 7.5 ft. wall where 6 ft. is the maximum height within the T3 Zone. The 1.19-acre parcel is addressed at 131 Calle Delphia in La Union, NM. It is identified as Lot 23 of the Valle Hermoso Phase 2 Subdivision recorded on 6/12/2008, in Book 22, Pages 501-502 in the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office. It can be further identified by Parcel No. R1718654.
