The Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following agenda at a Regular Meeting to be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88007:

 

  1. Roll Call of Officers
  2. Approval or Changes to the Agenda
  3. Approval of Minutes:  Regular Meeting of January 25, 2018.
  4. Old Business:
    1. CASE # Z17-012 / Marquez: The applicant, Uriel Marquez, David Hernandez owner, is requesting a Zone Change on a 4.636-acre parcel from a D1 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District to a C2 (Community Commercial) Zoning District.  The applicant is requesting the Zone Change for a RV and self-storage facility.  The subject property is within Section 24, Township 22 South, Range 1 East, and is accessed from E. Thorpe Rd. but has not been addressed.  It is described as Lot 17, Block 17, of the EBL&T Co. Subdivision “A”, as recorded in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk on July 12, 2007, as Instrument # 0724450.  The subject parcel can be further identified by Parcel ID # R0321573.  Postponed from the January 25, 2018 Meeting.
  1. New Business:
    1. CASE # Z17-013 / Brightly: The applicant, Eric Brightly, is requesting a Zone Change on a 11.97-acre parcel from a T2 (Rural) Zoning District to a C2 (Community Commercial) Zoning District.  The applicant is requesting the Zone Change for a utility trailer sales, rentals, service, and parts facility.  The subject property is located at 900 Highway 213, in Chaparral, NM. It is within Section 29, Township 26 South, Range 5 East and it was recorded in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk on March 31, 2017, with Instrument #1707638.  The subject parcel can be further identified by Parcel ID # R1708319.
