The Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following agenda at a Regular Meeting to be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88007:

    1. CASE #Z17-012 / Marquez: The applicant, Uriel Marquez, David Hernandez owner, is requesting a Zone Change on a 4.636-acre parcel from a D1 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District to a C2 (Community Commercial) Zoning District.  The applicant is requesting the Zone Change for a RV and self-storage facility.  The subject property is within Section 24, Township 22 South, Range 1 East, and is accessed from E. Thorpe Rd. but has not been addressed.  It is described as Lot 17, Block 17, of the EBL&T Co. Subdivision “A”, as recorded in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk on July 12, 2007, as Instrument # 0724450.  The subject parcel can be further identified by Parcel ID # R0321573.  Postponed from the February 8, 2018 Meeting.
  5. New Business:
    1. CASE #Z18-001 / Marquez: The applicant, Arturo Marquez, is requesting a Zone Change on a 4.77-acre parcel from a D1-L (Low Density Residential-Limited) Zoning District to an I1 (Light Industrial) Zoning District.  The applicant is requesting the Zone Change to expand his current business, Marquez Wrought Iron, for additional vehicle parking and material storage. The subject property is located east of the property addressed as 5190 Del Rey Blvd., north of the City of Las Cruces and within Section 24, Township 22 South, Range 1 East. It is described as Lot 13, Block 21, of the EBL&T Co. Subdivision “A” and it was recorded in the Office of the Doña Ana County Clerk on December 28, 2017, with Instrument #1730268.  The subject parcel can be further identified by Parcel ID # R0305667.
