RURAL OUTREACH ASSISTANCE PROGRAM HEADS TO GARFIELD

The Doña Ana County Community and Constituent Services (CCS) Office has scheduled a Mobile Constituent Services Hour Clinic in Garfield to help residents who need assistance from local, state and federal government agencies.

The Garfield Mobile Constituent Services Outreach Clinic will be held from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the Garfield Fire Station, 8920 Highway 187.

District 5 Doña Ana County Commissioner John Vasquez and staff from U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich’s Las Cruces District Office have been invited to attend.

“The purpose of the Mobile Constituent Services Hour is to make the county more accessible to constituents, especially those who reside in rural areas,” CCS Manager Liz Reed said. “We realize that in most cases, we won’t be able to solve a problem on the spot, but staff will be able to point constituents toward the right offices and entities who can offer the quickest and most reliable response to whatever issue arises.”

For more information about the Mobile Constituent Services Outreach Clinics, contact the Doña Ana County Community and Constituent Services Office at (575) 525-5959.
