PUBLIC HEARING/ORDINANCE

15. Adopt an Ordinance Approving the Border Industrial Association, Local Economic Development Act (“LEDA”) Project Proposal, the Project Participation Agreement, the Intergovernmental Agreement, the Guaranty and a Budget Resolution and Revision and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager for the Documents Cited and all Other Documents Necessary to Complete this Project – Chuck McMahon, Assistant County Manager, will discuss.

CORRESPONDENCE

16. Lynn Ellins, County Clerk, will present to the Commission any claims received by Doña Ana County.

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION, subject to the attorney-client privilege to discuss threatened or pending litigation relating to (1) the New Mexico Association of Counties Multi Line Pools denial of coverage relating to the claim filed by Chris Barela against Doña Ana County; (2) Provisional Government of Santa Teresa and Mary Gonzalez v. Doña Ana County Board of County Commissioners, cause number D-307-CV-2015-02653; and, (3) Provisional Government of Santa Teresa, et. al. v. City of Sunland Park and Socorro Partners I, L.P. cause number D-307-CV-2016-02087, as authorized by the Open Meetings Act, NMSA 1978, §10-15-1 (H) (7).

THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY CONVENE IN OPEN SESSION to take action, if any, on the closed session items.
