  • After a sewer line break on Las Palmeras Road in Anthony, the Doña Ana County closed the road on Friday May 8, to allow access for repairs. It will be reopened by 5 p.m.

    Las Palmeras Road will be closed 400 feet north of Shrode road and at the corner of Shrode Road and Las Palmeras. 

    Warning signs and detours will be prominently posted and guide traffic through a short detour around the closure to Highway New Mexico State Highway 478, then back to Las Palmeras Road.

  • Doña Ana County Fire & Emergency Services responded to a structure fire caused by an electrical short that quickly spread throughout the home on the 400 block of Paseo Real Drive, in Chaparral at 3:44 p.m., on Tuesday, May 5.

    A partir del 15 de mayo, la Autoridad de Residuos Sólidos del Centro Sur continuará exigiendo cupones de basura cuando los residentes utilicen las estaciones de transferencia de desechos sólidos del Condado. Departamento de Servicios Públicos del Condado de Doña Ana, 845 N. Motel Blvd. vende cupones de eliminación o "tarjetas perforadas" para compensar el costo de procesamiento y transporte de desechos sólidos o basura a los vertederos.

  • In response to the ongoing global pandemic, the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office is establishing precautionary procedures for voters who will be voting early and in person during the 2020 Primary Election. Early in-person voting begins on May 5th at the Doña Ana County Government Center. It continues Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturday, May 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
