    OBJECTIVE: To streamline communication between local government agencies during the COVID-19 response. Partner organizations include city and county representatives, local hospitals, the Department of Health, jail and prison facilities, first responders, the Las Cruces Public School district, the Town of Mesilla, City of Anthony, City of Sunland Park and Village of Hatch.

  • Effective September 8, the Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd. will re-open to the public.  The main doors facing Motel Boulevard will be open between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.  We

  •      Several residents recently received fake notices claiming taxes are owed to Doña Ana County, the State of New Mexico, or the United States Government.

         Appearing official in nature and claiming to originate from local, state or federal government agencies, fake calls, letters or emails notify taxpayers that they owe taxes and their property will be seized, unless a payment plan is arranged.

  • LAS CRUCES, NM – The Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office is advising voters that The Voter Participation Center (VPC) and The Center for Voter Information (CVI) will be mailing voter registration forms to more than 31,000 registered voters in Doña Ana County during the month of September.

    While these forms did not originate from the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office, they will be processed in accordance with state statute if they are completed and returned. However, voters may instead choose to update or review their voter registration online at NMVote.org.

  •       A significant street paving improvement project in the townsite of Organ is scheduled to be completed before the end of September, 2020.  The project was started in May and was funded by a legislative appropriation totaling $400,000 spearheaded by Senator William Soules, District 37, who sponsored the request for the funds.
