  •                 The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting several DWI checkpoints and saturation patrols in November. These activities are part of an ongoing effort to reduce DWI-related crashes, injuries and deaths.

  •           Several pieces of original student artwork from the Las Cruces and Gadsden Public Schools have been installed in the first-floor corridors of the Doña Ana County Government Center at 845 N. Motel Blvd. in Las Cruces.

  •      Most Doña Ana County offices will close Monday, Nov. 11 to enable employees to celebrate and honor our veterans.
     

  •      K9 ‘Dallas’ served as a guest judge at Better Life Natural Pet Foods’ Halloween Costume Contest. Proceeds will benefit the Cat’s Meow, a feline-only adoption non-profit.Dallas K9

  •      Doña Ana County’s Animal Control field staff will switch to winter hours beginning Nov. 3. Winter operational hours will remain in effect through March 8, 2020.
    Officers will be in the field from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, excluding holidays.  Holiday hours will remain from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  •      After completing the 23rd and 24th Doña Ana County Fire and Emergency Services Firefighter Academy, 28 new firefighters will be sworn in at the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7.

  •      Dist. 2 Doña Ana County Commissioner Ramon S. Gonzalez will hold two community outreach meetings in November.
    To provide county updates and listen to constituents’ concerns and ideas for improvement, Gonzalez will host a casual conversation from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the City of Sunland Park Council Chambers, 1000 McNutt Road in Sunland Park.Constituents in Chaparral provide feedback to Dist. 2 Commissioner Gonzalez
