6. CASE # Z07-003/DONA ANA COUNTY: Doña Ana County is adjusting the Extra-Territorial Zoning Boundary due to a March 2006 annexation by the City of Las Cruces. The subject properties will go from County Performance District zoning to ETZ zoning. The subject parcels are located on 8,100 acres north of the City of Las Cruces from the Holman and Flatland Road area westward across Jornada Rd to north of Del Rey Blvd within Township 21S, Range 1E and 2E.

7. CASE # Z08-002/FLORES: The applicant, Jim Flores, is requesting a Zone Change on a 1.74-acre parcel from EI1C to EI1. The current zoning was established at some point between March 1989 and June 1990 with conditions that can no longer be determined. The subject parcel is located south of the City of Las Cruces bordering South Main St. at 110 Blue Sky Lane, within Section 4, Township 24S, Range 2E, and can be further identified by Map Code # 4-009-139-081-302.

8. CASE # SU08-006/BRISCO: The applicants, Shane and Ruth Brisco, are requesting a Special Use Permit to establish the newly constructed 2,663 sq. ft. residence as the primary dwelling and to designate the original 1,255 sq. ft. adobe residence as the accessory living quarters on the subject property. The 2.88-acre parcel is zoned ER3 (Residential, one-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes), is addressed at 620 Abbey Rd., within Section 27, Township 24 S, Range 2 E. The parcel is described as Lot 3A, U.S.R.S Tract 17-16B & 17-28, Replat No. 1, is located south of the City of Las Cruces, and can be further identified by Map Code # 4-011-143-017-458.

9. Review of a Proposed Modification to Amendment 2007-01 to the Las Cruces Extra-Territorial Zoning Ordinance (No. 88-02), Article VIII, “Keeping of Animals.” The ETZ will make a recommendation to the ETA on this issue.

10. Proposed Amendment to the Las Cruces Extra-Territorial Zoning Ordinance (No. 88-02), Article II, “Administration of the Zoning Code”, Section 2.4.I: “Interpretations of District Boundaries”. The ETZ will make a recommendation to the ETA on this issue.

11. Proposed Amendment to the Las Cruces Extra-Territorial Zoning Ordinance (No. 88-02), Article II, “Administration of the Zoning Code”, Section 2.2.C, ”Building Permits and Plans”: A building permit or certificate occupancy may be refused until complete compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances and subdivision regulations is demonstrated and there are no code violations on the property.
