Case # Z07-014/STEEL: The applicant, Phillip Steel, is requesting a zone change on a 5.01-acre lot from ER3 (Residential, 1-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site built homes) to EI2 (General Industrial District) to establish a small winery and tasting room producing 2,500 cases per year. The subject parcel is located south of the City of Las Cruces city limits, is addressed at 1710 Summertime Lane, is within Section 8, T24S, R2E, and can be further identified by Map Code No. 4-008-140-316-246.

Case # CASE #Z07-015/HARGRAVES: Summit Engineering, agent for the applicant, Hargraves Drilling Co., is requesting a Zone Change on a 7.10-acre parcel from ER3M (Residential, 1-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes and mobile homes) to EC2 (Commercial, 5000 s.f. minimum new lot size, retail and personal service and some commercial recreational uses) to match the commercial zoning bordering the parcel on the west, and for possible future development. The subject property is located south of Calle Las Lomas at the east end of Thorpe Road within Section 13, T22S, R1E, and can be further identified by Map Code # 4-006-129-088-387.

  9. Case # SU07-014/FEFC: The applicant, First Evangelical Free Church, is requesting a Special Use Permit to build a church in the ER 2 Zoning District. Pursuant to Article III, Section 3.1.B.2.d, churches require a Special Use Permit in the ER 2 District. The subject parcel of 11.64 acres is located on Dripping Springs Road just east of University Ave. bordering the southeast boundary of the Las Cruces City Limits, within Section 22, T23S, R2E, and can be further identified by Map Code Number 4-010-136-395-130.
