6. CASE # SU07- 009/BESS: The applicants, CC and Mary Ann Bess, Ted Scanlon, agent, are requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a lift station and force main for sewer service for the proposed Dove Crossing Subdivision in the ER 4 Zoning Designation. Pursuant to Article 3, Section 3.1.E.1.d.8; public utility installations, substations, and water wells require a Special Use Permit in the ER4 District. The subject parcel is 0.079-acre, Tract A, (per the final plat) of the Bess Tracts. The subject parcel is on Karen Drive just west and south of the Las Cruces City Limits north of Holy Cross Road and can be further identified by Map Code Number 4-009-138-217-458.

CASE # SU07- 010/OLIVAS: The applicant, Alejandro Olivas, agent Noel Gutierrez, is requesting a Special Use Permit to establish the existing 1120 sq. ft. mobile home primary structure on the parcel as an accessory living quarters. The applicant seeks to remove and replace the 980 sq. ft. mobile home, which had been designated an accessory living quarters on the parcel by a 1999 SUP (SU99-013 - which expired in 2002) with a larger 2128 sq. ft. living quarters that would become the primary structure on the parcel. The 1.34-acre parcel is zoned ER3M (Residential, one-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes and mobile homes), is addressed at 5720 Aberdeen Angus Way within Section 9, Township 22 South, Range 3 East, is located just north of Bataan Memorial West and US Hwy 70, northeast of the City of Las Cruces, and can be further identified by Map Code Number 4-015-128-348-119.
