CENTRO DE SERVICIOS ANIMALES QUIERE UN SAN VALENTIN PARA LAS MASCOTAS

The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley is participating in Petco Foundation’s Send Love to Shelter Pets in an effort to win a $10,000 grant.

“Post photos or videos that show your love for your own shelter pets on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag #ShelterValentine and tag both the @Animal Services Center of Mesilla Valley and @petcofoundation,” said ASCMV Executive Director Clint Thacker.  “It’s the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your own pet and the ones in our care.”

Each post by Feb. 14 means a chance for the Center to win a grant award of up to $10,000 that could help save more pets.

The mission of the Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley is to provide safe shelter for all lost, mistreated and abandoned animals of the Mesilla Valley and surrounding communities. Created in 2008 under a Joint Powers Agreement that establishes a financing, operations and bylaws, it is the only open-admission municipal animal shelter in the City of Las Cruces and Doña Ana County.
