Doña Ana County’s Engineering Department provides in-house professional support for road construction, flood prevention and a host of other projects related to infrastructure development. The engineering staff also reviews plans by developers and assists the county’s departments of Roads and Planning as they evaluate options geared toward well-managed growth.

Infrastructure Projects
Infrastructure Projects are large, capital outlay projects, such as roads, buildings, water utilities, airport runways, broadband access equipment and more. In New Mexico, many of these projects are funded through Legislative Appropriations and administered through Many of these are funded through grants from the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration.
